Pour Paintings Laya Clode

Pour painting by Laya Clode (manipulated).

May 2019. Fabulous pour paintings by Laya Clode. Abstract art by Laya Clode. Under construction, with hopefully much more to come.

My sister Laya Clode does amazing pour paintings. These paintings really stir the imagination, and look wonderful from both far away and close up.

The low resolution photos on this page are free to download, print and share. Thank you Laya!

If you are interested in buying the originals or high resolution photos for printing, please contact me daveclode@hotmail.com and I will pass on your details to Laya.

In time larger file photos will become available for sale at a lower cost than the originals, which can be printed onto large stretched canvases by your local art framer or similar, and will look absolutely fantastic on your wall!

Work in progress. Photo: Sian Butler.

I think these paintings would look great in hotels, cafes, waiting rooms, etc. High resolution photos of these paintings could also be used to print T-shirts, tote bags, etc.

If you purchase any, you would be free to do some printing for yourself and perhaps a couple of friends and family, but the artist retains full copyright, and resale would be an infringement of copy right laws.

The low resolution photos on this page are free for your to download and print.

The painting below is a collaboration between Laya Clode (my sister) and Sian Butler (my mother), inspired by the colours of the Kimberleys in North Western Australia.

Fabulous!

“Outback Colours 2” Sian Butler and Laya Clode.

This painting is already sold!

“Outback Colours 1” Pour painting by Laya Clode.

Red rocks, yellow sand, and a lake… or at least that is how I see it. It shouts Australian Outback!

“Outback Colours 2 Dark” Manipulated in Photoshop to look like an iron-rich rock from North Western Australia. Pour Painting By Laya Clode.

Portion of “Outback Colours 2” by Laya Clode and Sian Butler.

I see rivers and rocks, and pools of water at the top slowly but inexorably sinking into a sandy river bed.

“Great Barrier Reef”. Acrylic pour painting by Sian Butler and Laya Clode, I manipulated this painting in Photoshop elements to produce this version – I think there is a wonderful synergy between Sian, Laya, and myself when we work together on creative projects.. I will hopefully do a higher res version, and better quality, when I have a higher res photo to work with.
