I would like to recommend a few YouTube videos:
A gospel message “THE BRIDGE – Gospel Presentation” by bernardccarreon65 (you will have to search for it on youtube as the link did not work).
A video on salvation by faith and not by works:
Again the link did not work, so you will have to search for “Lordship salvation Hank Lindstrom”
A video on pride:
well, at least that worked.
May 25 2019. I have upgraded this site with WordPress. This has a few advantages, one of which is removing adverts. There is also now more storage, so from now on any posters, photos or paintings uploaded may be a higher resolution which means they can be printed at a larger size without losing quality.
April 2019. Please see the new “Pour Paintings” page featuring my sister Laya Clode’s fabulous paintings (under construction), and the new amazing Outback pour paintings on the “Australian Outback Paintings” page by pour artists Laya Clode and Sian Butler.
July 2019. New poster:
June 2019. New poster background. This could be printed and then details of a church working bee written on it by hand, and then colour photocopies made.
May 2019. Seven new backgrounds on the “Christian Poster Backgrounds 2” page.
February 2019. Eight new background posters on the Christian Poster Backgrounds 1 page (below the first eight or so posters).
December 2018. Four new posters on the top of the page “Bible Verse Posters 3”. New doorway paintings on the “Doorway Paintings” page, and a new painting on the “Australian Outback Paintings” page.
For more of my free to download photos (higher resolution, around 6mb), you can visit Unsplash.com, (search “unsplash david clode”) and click on the link at the top of the page. If you are interested in posters only, please visit my other site: https://christianpostersfree.wordpress.com/
Spreading the gospel (the good news) of salvation through Jesus Christ
Please photocopy or print and distribute the free Christian tracts and Christian posters on this site to spread the good news:
“…that Christ died for our sins…
And that he was buried,
And that he rose again…”
Portions of 1 Corinthians 15:3,4.
Many people around the world have still not heard the gospel.
Others have a vague idea about the gospel, but still lack a clear understanding because they have not encountered a clear and simple presentation of the gospel.
Some have a distorted view of Christianity, and are not yet aware that salvation is solely by God’s grace through faith, and not by our good works.
Some have heard but not yet responded to the good news, and may respond if they hear or read it one more time.
Still more need to read the good news in their own language, and some need to hear because they cannot read.
This adds up to millions of people who need to hear or read a clear, simple, and faithful presentation of the Christian gospel.
I hope that you will use the free downloadable and printable Christian posters and tracts (tracts further down this page) on this site to help spread the clear and simple message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Evangelism is perhaps the most important of the good works that should naturally follow salvation, and wherever possible, is the job of every Christian, everywhere. Evangelism is so important, that it should be our most urgent and top priority…
“…he who wins souls is wise”
Christian posters and tracts can be placed on public notice boards, with drawing pins or push pins for example, or placed anywhere that people will see them. Posters framed and hung in homes and churches will be seen by visitors. Tracts can be handed out in public places or placed in letter boxes. There is also the option of making Christmas cards or greeting cards.
There are also photos and images on this site (which I call Christian backgrounds) which you can use to make your own posters, tracts, church notices, educational aids, etc. Please feel free to download, photocopy or print any of the materials on this site, for evangelism, for personal use, and as gifts.

March – May 2019 new posters below:
In the Bible the word men is used in a generic sense, like mankind, including women and children. Fulfilled prophecy is one of the proofs that the Bible is true, and it is ironic that the Bible prophesies that people will blaspheme and mock and scoff at Christianity, and by doing so they are fulfilling prophecy, and they are therefore themselves one of the proofs that Christianity is true.

Excellent gospel poster below:
Moments with the book provide excellent tracts for purchase. Their statement of faith is also spot on, and you can choose text from a few different Bible versions. They can imprint your details, e.g. your contact details/address for your church, on the tract.
You can also design your own tract and they can print it. If you decide to make your own tracts or posters, you are welcome to use any photos or text of mine from this site, if that helps. Go to the “Christian Poster backgrounds” pages for example. In my opinion, there is a great need for tracts in languages other than English if you are bilingual or multilingual and are able to produce them. Visit mwtb at: https://mwtb.org
Free Christian Tracts to download – the Christian tracts below can be downloaded and printed (you may need to download Adobe reader, free from the internet) and then photocopied cheaply on both sides of the page, cut in half to make two tracts from one photocopied page, and then folded in half. If you take a printout to a photocopying shop, they can use a guillotine to cut a large number of photocopies in half in one go, and then the tracts only need to be folded in half. See “Displaying tracts on notice boards” below for some ideas on how to display them. These free Christian tracts are intended to be a convenient size that should fit into a shirt pocket, so that you can always carry some with you. Please click on the blue high-lighted names below for some simple gospel tracts:
GOOD NEWS Aa “…hoping that our good works will outweigh our bad works is like getting caught breaking the law by speeding and hoping to be let off because we don’t speed most of the time. The good news is that Christ took our place and bore the punishment for our sins on the cross so that we can be saved from God’s righteous judgement.”
ETERNITY “Some of us hope that our good deeds will be enough to get us into heaven…we have lied, stolen, lusted, coveted, and failed to love God and our neighbour. No one is good enough to go to heaven.” This tract is based on Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron’s “What did Jesus do?” approach – see www.wayofthemaster.com .
More free Christian tracts on various topics – most of these tracts were written by two friends of mine (Pastor Steve Muller and Peter McGregor):
Abortion “Contrary to evolutionary theory, life does have meaning. It is precious in God’s sight, right from the beginning”.
Bible “However, God, by His eternal mercy gave His only Son Jesus Christ, as a blood sacrifice… to die for all of our sins (mine and yours) past, present and future, that by this sacrifice we can have eternal life and live with Jesus forever in a glorified body.”
The big bang “In the beginning there was nothing and then it exploded… even a small child knows that an explosion causes DISORDER, not order! How then can we account for the incredible design of the universe?”
BORN AGAIN “…there are two births, one by water, being your natural birth, and the second is a spiritual birth that you must have to qualify for entry into the kingdom of God, (Heaven).”
catholic dogma “Tradition has equal authority with the Bible…“Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? …ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.”” Matt. 15:3-6.
Divorce “Why should there be a life long commitment to one person? Why is it wrong to commit adultery?”
Euthanasia “To be consistent, if we are all just animals, then wouldn’t putting down humans be just as acceptable as putting down dogs?”
evolution “Thermodynamics says that sytems tend toward increasing disorder, not
increasing order. Evolution requires that new genetic information be added… but in natural selection NO NEW INFORMATION IS ADDED. It is actually lost over time. Biological changes occur in the opposite direction to what is required by evolution!”
Flood “The Bible states that God delivered His sovereign judgement on the pre-flood world because the people had turned to great wickedness.”
Fossils “…if EVOLUTION is true, man sets the rules. If CREATION is true, God sets the rules. And man does not want to be accountable to God.”
Homosexual “Militant homosexuality (and feminist lesbianism) is not just a private matter – it affects all of society.”
Islam “The Koran does not seem to give a clear direction (plan) to obtain salvation so Muslims are never sure if their works are enough… whereas born-again Christians believe they are saved by the grace of God and not by their good works.”
Jesus “… even the Pharisees and the Saducees who had power and hated Jesus couldn’t seem to make any false accusations regarding miracles and they were desperate to discredit or frame Him. First Corinthians 15:3-6 speaks of about 500 eye witnesses at one instance seeing Jesus after being resurrected from the dead.”
No fear “It takes real courage to go against the flow. Be brave enough to to accept and
trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour now, and fear God. If not you will have to face Almighty God on judgment day.”
PARADISE of GOD – Bb “The Lord God (Yahweh) has given us a plan for “Eternal Life” through His Son Jesus Christ.”
Racism “…the Bible says there is only one human race… political activism does more to reinforce racist discrimination than provide a long lasting solution for it.”
Rape “And if we are taught all our lives that we are just animals, we should not be surprised when some people start behaving like animals.”
Roman Catholic ‘… but Jesus alone is the mediator between God and man. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
suicide “In 1997 alone, 2,723 Australians commited suicide; 2,146 were males. Death is not the end; suicide is not the answer. Life does have meaning, and it is ONLY in this life that we have the opportunity to trust in Christ.”
Why There Has To Be A Creator Af “The Holy Bible says that God was before and not part of creation…”
Women can do anything…”God wants us to humble ourselves, to accept that we are sinners in need of a Saviour, to submit to Him, believing that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.”
If you are a Christian, you could skip the next section (a gospel message and sinner’s prayer) and go to “Displaying tracts on notice boards” further down the page.
Gospel message – the Good News
If you are not saved, it is the most important decision in life and should be your first priority…
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness”
Nothing else is as important as accepting Christ as your personal Saviour, since your eternal destiny depends upon it. Please accept Christ as your Saviour, and please do not put it off (“…behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation” 2 Cor. 6:2), for your own sake, and for the sake of those who care about you.
“You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
The diagram below helps to explain the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ:
The diagram shows how our good works, including trying to live a moral life, trying to live up to God’s standards (the ten commandments), observing religious rituals (1), and our philosophical attempts to work out our own ways to be good enough to reach and be reconciled to a just, righteous, and holy God, all fail miserably (2). There is nothing we can do in the way of good works to make up for our sins and be reconciled to God. Even our righteous works are as filthy rags in the sight of a holy God (3)!
We all need to accept that every one of us is a sinner, unable (and/or unwilling) to keep the ten commandments (4), and we are all therefore deserving of judgment, condemnation, and just punishment for our sins. Knowing this should make us contrite and repentant and yearn to turn away from our sinful ways and turn to God. We should be fearful of Almighty God who will judge us and rightly condemn and punish us for our sins. We are in dire need to be pardoned for our sins, and we should be desperately seeking to find out if there is a way to be saved from God’s judgment. So… what must we do to be saved?
The gospel or good news is that in spite of our sins, God loves us. He has provided a way for us to be saved from His judgment and punishment, that is in keeping with His love for us, yet at the same time is in accord with His righteousness, and the need for justice. He did all that by sending His Son Jesus Christ, who was both God and man, and who was without sin and therefore a perfect substitute and sacrifice, to die on the cross to pay for our sins. Christ was then buried, and then raised again to eternal life (5). If we have faith and believe, and accept God’s offer of the righteousness of Christ given to us through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross (6), all our sins are forgiven (past, present, and future), and we can be reconciled to God (7), saved from His righteous judgment, condemnation, and punishment (8), and spend eternity with Him in heaven (9).
So… please be reconciled to God:
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God were pleading through us:
we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:20, 21.
If you have any questions about Christianity, you may find answers here: www.gotquestions.org/
(1) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…” Titus 3:5a; “For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8,9; “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Rom. 3:28. (2) “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”Prov.14:12. (3) “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…” Isaiah 64:6a. (4) “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Rom.3:23. (5)”But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom.5:8; “…that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” 1 Tim. 1:15b; “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” 1 Pet. 3:18; “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Rom 4:25. (6) “For He (God) hath made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Cor. 5;21. (7) “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Rom. 5:1. (8) “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”. Rom. 8:1a. (9) “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom. 6:22,23.
“For what shall it profit a man
if he gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?”
God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). God wants you to be saved – if you believe that Christ died on the cross for your sins, you can be forgiven and accept Him as your Saviour right now. Please pray sincerely:
“Dear God, I have sinned by breaking Your laws. I understand that You are holy and that because of Your righteousness You are morally obliged to judge and punish sin. I accept and understand that I am a sinner, that I am not able to keep Your ten commandments, and that I am not able to pay for my sins with good works. I believe that Your Son Jesus offered Himself as a perfect sinless sacrifice to pay for my sins with His blood on the cross, that He rose from the dead, and that He is the only way for me to be saved. I now put my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I am sorry for all my sins and with Your help I will turn away from them. I call on You to be merciful to me, to give me the righteousness of Christ and to forgive me for all my sins: past, present, and future, and to save me from hell. Please grant me the free gift of eternal life with You in heaven. Thank You Lord for Your love, for providing a way for me to be saved, and for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer, you may not feel like anything has changed, but God promises to save all those who believe and call upon Him in faith…
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13; Joel 2:32.
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved”
If you live in a country where Christians are persecuted, you may not be able to do all of the following, but if it is at all possible, from now on it would be wise to:
grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, by reading the Bible every day, and doing your best to obey what you read,
set aside regular times to pray, and enjoy being with God (sometimes called a “quiet time”),
meet frequently with other Christians, to worship and praise God, and for fellowship, (in a Bible-believing church if you can),
continue to learn and grow by reading good Christian books, and web sites (go to the “Links” page on this site for example, to visit some of the educational sites, and some of the tracts and articles on this site are also educational),
and last but not least, strive to bring glory to God, by being a good witness for Him, and by living a life of good works,
which includes telling other people the good news, so that they have the opportunity to be saved as well.
Telling other people the Good News…
Perhaps the most important good work we can do is evangelism – to spread the Good News to other people. Once saved, we should all do our utmost to tell others and help them so that they can choose to accept Christ and be saved. I hope that the free Christian posters, free Christian tracts, Christian links, and other materials on this site will help you to do that.
Displaying Christian tracts and Christian posters on notice boards
If you are shy, or not yet confident in explaining the gospel to people, you can place gospel tracts and Christian posters on public notice boards. Not many of us feel capable or feel well-suited to street preaching, personally handing out tracts, or face-to-face witnessing; so placing evangelistic posters and tracts on notice boards is another option. Personal contact has the advantage of being there to answer questions, but can also be seen as touting, and there is the risk of “getting in peoples’ faces” and “Bible bashing”, which we should obviously try to avoid. The last thing we want to do is put people off. The advantage of gospel posters and tracts is that people are free to choose if they wish to read them, plus they can take them to read again later at their convenience, and if there are websites and books listed, they can do their own research into Christianity in their own time, and in countries where Christians are persecuted, in private. The tracts or posters are also there 24 hours a day.
When placing tracts or posters on notice boards, it helps if you are able to visit the boards frequently, to top up tracts/posters that have been taken, and to tidy up if necessary. For more suggestions on using tracts, see the article: tips-for-distributing-tracts2, and “Tips for choosing tracts” on the “Tract Tips” page.
In this style of presentation, the tract is open so that people can read it easily, and take some if they want to.
I like to try experimenting with different ways of spreading the good news. Here, credit card tracts from www.faithofchoice.com or www.departmentofeternalaffairs.com , are offered in a plastic pouch (home-made from a plastic A4 sheet protector) for people to help themselves. The credit card tracts should also work well left in public phone boxes and inside magazines in the waiting rooms of doctors and dentists, coffee shops, etc.
I have also experimented with home-made postcards of the “Three Wise Koalas” with a stamp on the back (Tracts4free.WordPress.com). Hopefully people will send them around the world, read the stamp on the back and visit this site so that they read the gospel and get saved; or if they are Christians, so that they will be motivated to share the gospel by distributing tracts/posters.
When distributing Christian tracts it is worth remembering that some people are virulently anti-Christian and may repeatedly remove them from notice boards, or just destroy them – you should expect opposition to evangelistic efforts, and to feel discouraged occasionally. You may even experience opposition from other Christians. At times, there may seem to be no feedback and very little return for a great deal of effort, but remember that it will be worthwhile if only one soul is saved: “…there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth”. Luke 15:10.
Press on regardless. The results are in God’s hands.
It is worth distributing tracts/posters at different times, in different places, and in different ways. The Bible says “Cast thy bread upon the waters…”, and “In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withold not thy hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Eccl. 11:1a, 6.
Today (21 April 2012), I put the above displays on a popular notice board, plus tracts (ten of each). I checked again 90 minutes later, and all the Koala postcards and all the credit card tracts were taken, while none of the normal tracts were taken. Of course this does not necessarily mean that the people or person who took them will get saved, but it is an indication of popularity at least. However, the Koala postcards are also the most expensive to produce, followed by the credit card tracts, followed by the normal tracts. The credit card tracts are eye-catching and probably the most cost-effective. All of the normal tracts were taken within 48 hours.
Lately I have been putting up posters, including those with “good quotes” and “political quotes” as well as evangelism posters, on the main notice board in town, where, like the tracts, most are quickly removed by one or more persons, but I carry on regardless. I have had more luck with posters staying up at the local university bus stop. Not surprisingly, the Theodore Roosevelt poster “A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education” was quickly removed!
Gospel posters and Christian posters have the advantage of perhaps attracting more attention than tracts, and will hopefully not be removed from the board, so that they can be read by many people.
If tabs (with “Tracts4free.WordPress.com” typed on them, or your church’s address/contact details) are placed at the bottom of the poster, people can tear off a tab and visit this web site (and/or your church) later if they choose to do so.
A possible disadvantage with posters is that there is less space for writing, and so the gospel message has to be very short.
On the other hand, many people have been conditioned to have limited attention spans, and may not spend the time to read a lengthy tract.
“Those who sow in tears
shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping,
bearing seed for sowing,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
bringing his sheaves with him”
Psalm 126;5, 6.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto man;
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:
for ye serve the Lord Christ”
Col. 3:23, 24.
FREE PAINTINGS AND PHOTOS
Free Paintings to download and print, and free photos to download and print
I hope you like some of the downloadable paintings and photos on this site – click on the buttons at the top of the page for more. You can download and print these paintings and photos (free), and perhaps make colour photocopies of them, for yourself, or to give away to friends, relatives (and enemies!). They could be used as a desktop background, wall paper, or framed and hung on a wall, or just stuck on the fridge. Copyright is retained by the artist/photographer/author.
Hopefully the free photos and paintings will attract visitors to this site who are not Christians, who would not normally visit a Christian web site. In the process they may read the gospel for the first time, or perhaps gain a clearer understanding of the gospel by being exposed to it once again, and hopefully be saved as a result. The links page, and the tracts themselves, also enable visitors to learn more about Christianity. The idea is similar to medical professionals, charity/aid workers and English teachers working overseas, and doing missionary work at the same time. The good work is a good witness, especially if it is freely given, and helps to establish credibility for their missionary work.
